Sprint PCS Customer Care – Overland Park, Kansas

National headquarters for Sprint PCS Customer Care. Executive and administrative staff within this facility is responsible for training PCS Customer Care staff nationwide, as well as the development and implementation of Customer Care procedures and practices.

Sprint World Headquarters – Overland Park, Kansas

The Sprint International World Headquarters includes 3.9 million sf of building. RAI was responsible for interior planning and design for over 3,000,000 sf of all general office space, including: executive suites, central commons and lobbies, conferencing centers, an auditorium and reception hall.

Patti Banks Associates

PBA’s offices are located in Kansas City’s historic financial district. This 2-story office gives PBA, a planning and environmental design firm, a bright clean pallet in which to work.

Handmark Corporate Office

The office, on the 4th floor of 909 Walnut, is sandwiched between the two-story vaulted lobby and the rest of the 34-story tower above. As a result, large crisscrossed concrete transfer trusses run down the center of the space. It was this unique quality that was Handmark’s original draw to the space and the design challenge that ensued.

Farmland Industries World Headquarters

The 250,000 sf corporate headquarters was designed to house 900 employees. Among Farmland’s goals for the facility was to achieve standardization between departments and positions while reducing square footage throughout.

Sprint Technology Center

The Centers consist of an entry lobby and reception lounge, complete with kitchen and baggage storage areas. The “tour” starts in the lounge and proceeds into Conferencing Areas and the Demonstration Room via a central corridor.

MRIGlobal (formerly Midwest Research Institute)

Modernization of MRIGlobal included the complete facade renovation of this nationally recognized research facility. Also included was the design and replacement of the curtainwall system of the north facades of Kimball and Spencer buildings.

Levy & Craig Law Offices

The Levy & Craig attorneys undertook renovation of an existing 8-story building in Kansas City’s downtown judicial district. Garcia Architecture provided interior architecture and design for three floors to accommodate the Levy & Craig Law Offices as well as renovation of the parking garage.

Hoechst Marion Roussel Corporate Offices

Hoechst Marion Roussel, a major pharmaceutical company, expanded its corporate campus. The new facility was designed to accommodate 2,400 associates and consists of offices; development laboratories; a utility plant and a 500-car, 165,000 sf open parking structure.
