Science City at Union Station – Kansas City, Missouri

Kansas City’s Union Station is the second-largest train station in North America. It was designed in 1910 by world-renowned architect, Jarvis Hunt. The restored Union Station is now home to Science City, a contemporary hands-on science museum.

The exterior restoration of the station which encompassed:

  • Stone restoration and repointing, brick masonry and terra-cotta restoration and repointing
  • Window restoration and replacement (wood and metal)
  • Exterior door restoration & replacement
  • Canopy restoration & reconstruction
  • Carriage pavilion canopy and building restoration and reconstruction
  • Express building re-roofing
  • Exterior cleaning

New York Life Building Historical Renovation/Restoration (Aquila World Headquarters) Kansas City, Missouri

The design of the original structure was completed by the well-known New York City architecture firm of McKim, Mead and White. The project included a complete restoration of the exterior, brownstone, brick, and terra-cotta facade. Inside became home to Utilicorp Communications Services
